Adrian Luca writes electronic music that sits among the tape, computer and live-electronic pieces of Sydney's WATT collective, and shapes intricate fusion charts for the jazz quintet Sonic Fiction.
His electronic writing appears beside the audio-visual and computer works gathered from two decades of WATT concerts, including the excerpt The Opiate of the Masses. In the jazz sphere he co-composes and arranges for Sonic Fiction, feeding rhythm-rich originals that balance detailed writing with open improvisation inside a two-guitar quintet driven by MIDI vibes, from funky grooves to irregular-meter fusion.
