TALL POPPIES RECORDS New and classical music by Australian composers and performers

Bernard Lanskey

Bernard Lanskey is a pianist whose teaching career has included senior roles at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and as dean of the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music in Singapore.

His Tall Poppies recordings centre on piano four hands and chamber collaboration. On The Inner Line (TP154) he joins Stephen Emmerson in Brahms and Schubert four-hand works, framed by Andrew Schultz’s 12 Variations, written for the duo. On Suspended Preludes (TP171) he returns to Schultz’s chamber music, including those variations, the solo meditation Sleepers Wake – Karalananga, and duo pieces with flute and violin.
