Chris Dench
Chris Dench is an Australian composer of contemporary classical music. His two-movement piano work Two Phase Portraits pairs Helical (1976) with Esperance (1985/86).
His piano writing is heard on Notations (TP037), a 1993 Sydney recital that places Two Phase Portraits among European modernism and Australian solo works.
Esperance also appears on the anthology An Australian Collection (TP117), a survey drawn from the label’s first decade.
