Albéric Magnard
Albéric Magnard (1865–1914) was a French composer whose small output is best known for four symphonies and a handful of chamber and piano works. His seven character pieces Promenades take their names from places around Paris.
Magnard left only twenty-two opus numbers. Beside the symphonies stand a string quartet, piano quintet, piano trio, violin sonata, cello sonata, and the 1893 piano cycle Promenades: Envoi, Bois de Boulogne, Villebon, St Cloud, St Germain, Trianon and Rambouillet.
A world premiere recording of those seven pieces is on Alkan & Magnard (TP081).
Albéric Magnard is featured on the following titles

Alkan & Magnard
