Lucinda Moon
Lucinda Moon is an Australian baroque violinist. Trained in Melbourne and The Hague, she is known for period-instrument performance and for leading work with major Australian early-music ensembles.
She graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 1991 and won the Willem van Otterloo and Nickson Travelling scholarships for postgraduate study in baroque violin, completing further training at the Royal Conservatorium in The Hague in 1995. The following year she was a prize-winner at the Bruges Early Music Competition.
Based in Adelaide, she has long worked with Australian period-instrument groups, including the Elysium Ensemble—heard on The Bedroom of the King (MD 3184)—and as concertmaster of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra.

The Academy of Melbourne is a small chamber orchestra formed in 1989 by its artistic director, Brett Kelly, MSO principal trombone.
