A great sound. I just love listening to this music over and over again.
Artists
Brett Kelly
Brett Kelly conducts the Academy of Melbourne in classical horn concertos and living Australian scores, shaping orchestral colour that lets the solo line sing and the new work speak with clarity and warmth.
Hector McDonald
Hector McDonald's horn has a golden, unforced bloom, whether threading Classical concertos or locking into chamber dialogue. From Haydn and Telemann to Brahms, Banks and Berkeley, the line stays poised, radiant and soloistic.

Composers

Georg Philipp Telemann
Georg Philipp Telemann (1681–1767) was a German Baroque composer and multi-instrumentalist. Almost completely self-taught, he became a composer against his family's wishes and ranked among the leading German musicians of his age.
Joseph Haydn
Joseph Haydn's keyboard sonatas, concertos and sacred scores still sound freshly made: Classical forms packed with wit, sudden passion and conversational charm that leap off the page when played with period fire.
