Veronique Serret

Véronique Serret is an Australian violinist and composer whose work moves between notated music and free improvisation. She is a member of the Sydney experimental string quartet The Noise.

Classically trained, she works across contemporary chamber music, improvised performance and cross-genre projects.

On Tall Poppies she appears as violinist and composer on Across the Top (TP211), a hybrid programme built around an extended suite inspired by northern Australia, with string writing and ensemble improvisation at its centre.
