The Channel 7 mini-series of Bryce Courtenay’s The Potato Factory screened in Australia in July 2000. With Lisa McCune, Ben Cross and Sonia Todd, it is a ripper yarn of Dickensian London and early colonial life.

The Tall Poppies Orchestra performs the music under the composer’s direction. The recording was co-produced by Tall Poppies’ Belinda Webster and recording engineer Christo Curtis.
