The Transylvaniacs

The Transylvaniacs are a folk ensemble devoted to traditional Hungarian music from Transylvania, with Romanian and Gypsy tunes in the mix.

Their playing centres on violin, cimbalom, viola, double bass, and voice, in arrangements by the group itself—lively dance-floor fare with lickety-split fiddles and Gypsy fervour.

That sound is captured on On Our Way: Haza is Kéne Már Menni (TP063), twelve tracks of Transylvanian tradition aimed at anyone who loves Hungarian and Romanian folk music and dance.

The Transylvaniacs is featured on the following titles
